Practice for both JV & Varsity has been canceled for Monday due to the impending rain tonight……
Players should try to throw on their own tomorrow and get some dry swings at home. Practice will resume on Tuesday….
2010 Silent Auction
On behalf of the Allatoona Dugout Club, thanks so much to everyone who made the 2nd Annual Silent Auction a success!! A special thank you to Bret Fousch and to all of the committee chairs who did a great job pulling everything together!! Thanks as well to all of the businesses who donated items & services to help benefit the Allatoona baseball program and huge kudos to all of those who attended the auction and purchased the merchandise!

Important Conditioning Information:
The weather is getting very cold. All players should bring a jacket,
sweatshirt, sweatpants, long sleeves, gloves, hat or something to cover
their heads. Players will be sent home if they are not dressed accordingly.
We need to take all precautions to stay warm!

Buccaneer Silent Auction – change of date
The Silent Auction for the Allatoona Baseball team has been moved due to some scheduling conflicts from Saturday (January 23, 2010) to Saturday (January 30, 2010). If you have a ticket with the 23rd date, it will be honored for the night of the 30th! The auction will take place in the Allatoona High School cafeteria at 6pm.

Due to the wet weather today – Bucs baseball conditioning has been
cancelled for today.

Bucs win game one
Allatoona won game one in the baseball by the beach tourney 5-3 over Glynn Academy. Junior Jack Morris went 5 innings in the win and Clate Schmidt picked up the
save. The Bucs will take on the Brunswick Pirates at 4pm on Saturday at Edo Miller Park.
Bucs Baseball Update
Just a reminder that all baseball players who are striving to be a part of the Allatoona Baseball program, need to pick up their Silent Auction tickets to sell for the January 23, 2010 event! Rich Hobbs will be available after workouts on Thursday for players to pick up their tickets, or players can come by the school store to get them on Friday morning (8-9am). This is the team’s largest fundraiser of the year and everyone’s participation is huge to the success of the event!! All monies collected go directly to benefit Buccaneer Baseball!
There are two days left of conditioning before the winter break starts! There will be no baseball events during the Christmas break. Workouts and 2 on 1’s will resume when players start back in January!

Allatoona Baseball is proud to support our good friends at Hillgrove as they provide dinner prior to the Allatoona vs. Hillgrove basketball game. We hope you & your family will stop by and eat with them and then cheer on the Bucs in the game!! Hillgrove will be helping us in advertising for our Silent Auction, which is coming in January!!
