There will be no conditioning for baseball on Friday!

Bucs Winter Conditioning Update
Great crowd of bucs were at the first off-season day of conditioning. Bucs trying out for the spring team have 2 options for winter conditioning:
1. Training on the field daily led by team coaches. Players are report to field and be ready to go at 3:45pm. Conditioning will conclude by 5pm. There is no cost for this training. This training will take place 5 days a week.
2. Strength & Conditioning conducted by USA Gym. Players can learn to maximize their potential (more velocity from mound, more power from plate and more speed on the bases)
Special price of $225 for 12 sessions (regular price $350) All training is by appointment only

If a player signs up and participates (#2) – then they do not have participate in the training on the field. This is totally optional and is up to the choice of the player & parent. Both of these opportunities will seek to develop the Buccaneer player and get him ready for trying out for the 2010 baseball season!

The Buccaneers did a super job on our fall “Homerun” derby fundraiser!
As of today, the team had raised $6,183.86 and more is still coming in! Congrats to Logan Southard who raised $620! Way to go Logan!
Next major fundraiser will be the Silent Auction which will take place on January 23, 2010!
Off-Season Conditioning Information
BASEBALL CONDITIONING WILL START, Monday November 16th. 3:45 – 4:45. Please meet at the field.
THIS IS FOR ALL PLAYERS THAT ARE NOT INVOLVED IN A WINTER SPORT. ALL WINTER SPORT ATHLETES NEED TO COME BY AND SEE COACH HANSEN DURING THE SCHOOL DAY FOR OTHER BASEBALL INFORMATION.

Bucs Baseball week of November 2
The goal with all of the rainouts this fall was to get everyone 15 games. The JV & Varsity Red squads both completed 15 games, therefore do not have any more games this fall. The Varsity black squad still has two games remaining.

Varsity black vs. South Cobb (new time)
The Varsity black squad will host the South Cobb Eagles on Thursday @ 5:30pm in a 9 inning contest! Both squads to get some extra work in to wrap up the fall! The game will take place on Buccaneer Field!
